Signature Project - Africa
The Australian principals of a copper mining project in central Africa tasked Erinys to conduct a comprehensive safety and security survey of their operation. The purpose of this review was both to audit their existing approach to security, and structure a more integrated response combining security with safety, health and environmental concerns. Additionally the company was asked to prepare a Crisis Management Plan that included emergency evacuation.
Erinys responded with a complete bottom up review producing a documented security, safety and emergency management plan, which was successfully tested and implemented by the client 12 months later during a period of heightened threat.
Signature Project - Africa
Our client, a NYSE and JSE listed mining house, was starting up mining operations in an African country recovering from civil war. Erinys was contracted to carry out a review of security and to support this work with a detailed risk analysis of the political and socioeconomic operating environment.
The Erinys approach combined a ground security survey by one of our highly experienced international managers who produced a comprehensive and relevant plant and site security plan. The security plan was supported by a detailed risk impact probability study produced by Erinys’ research and analysis team based at our African Regional Office.
