Signature Project - Middle East
Erinys created and deployed a guard force of over 16,000 Iraqi national security guards (both static and mobile) protecting 282 key oil infrastructure sites, including strategically significant oil and gas pipelines. The Oil Protection Force (OPF) deployed over 450 vehicles and was supported by a comprehensive and robust nationwide communications infrastructure designed, established and maintained by Erinys.
In March 2004, the OPF was further enhanced by the introduction of a sophisticated day/night aerial surveillance capability.
Within the areas controlled by the OPF, attacks against critical oil infrastructure declined significantly. The OPF was successfully handed over to full Iraqi Ministry of Oil control at the end of December 2004.
Erinys continues to be retained in a consulting capacity advising the US Government and the Iraqi Ministry of Oil on oil infrastructure security matters with particular focus on the introduction of pipeline security measures.
Signature Project - Africa
An international media group required specialist security services to protect their personnel operating in a politically volatile African state during a time of heightened tensions.
Erinys was tasked to provide close protection services for the client's media teams and to establish an emergency evacuation plan to recover the client's personnel to a neighboring country in the event of the situation on the ground deteriorating further.
At short notice, and using a combination of ground and air assets, Erinys put in place specifically tailored and effective security and contingency plans, which enabled the client's teams to deploy as planned and successfully complete their assignment
Signature Project - Middle East
Erinys successfully provided the civilian component of the USACE Gulf Region Division (GRD) with Personnel Security Officers and Details (PSO/PSD) as well as Security Guard and Security Management services. These services included the provision of a high profile PSD to GRD's Commanding General, and the establishment of a GRD dedicated nationwide radio communications system and full spectrum communications technical support.
Erinys' success in exceeding all contract requirements led to the award in May 2004 by the US Army Corps of Engineers of a follow-on contract. Over 350 international security officers were deployed, and Erinys successfully protected GRD personnel and property throughout Iraq and significantly contributed to the success of the GRD mission.
